What will we be learning this year?

Each year of Generations of Faith focuses on an integral part of Catholic Life.

This year our focus is on CHURCH! Just what does it mean to say that we belong ot the Catholic Church...it means, in fact, we are THE CHURCH! And that means that we are far more than just the building in which we gather to worship each week.

As our Diocese proceeds with the initiative of vibrant Parish Life, we, with all the parishes of the Cleveland Diocese, are now entering into a process called Clustering - a way for parishes to work together to meet the needs of their people especially when there is a decline in the number of priests available for ministry.

Though the challenges are many, this is a great opportunity for all of us to reflect on what it means to be Church, to be parish, to be a Cahtolic in these times! Our programs this year continue these ideas and help all of us to come to a better awareness of what this menas for parish communities as well as to how each one of us - no matter what ourage and circumstance - can be Church for one another, for our neighborhoods, for our cities, and far beyond!
