When will my child be confirmed?
This is the timetable for the transition period. Beginning in 2006, all children will be confirmed in second grade when they celebrate their First Communion.

What will the preparation for these sacraments look like?
Preparation for all age levels involves not just the child, but includes the parents and extended family, and the entire parish community. Activities particular to their ages are provided based on the stages of faith development, home and parish gatherings, rituals at the weekend liturgies, and service to the community for young people and families.
I have more than one child who has not been confirmed. Can they all be confirmed at the same time?
Any child in the family who has reached the age of reason (about seven years) will be able to prepare for and receive the sacrament of Confirmation with other children in the family.
After my child celebrates the Sacraments of Confirmation and Communion in second grade, what will our parish offer for spiritual formation in the following years?
Holy Cross will continue to provide rich and varied opportunities for faith formation at all levels including our parish day school, Generations of Faith, family and community experiences throughout each year, the parish Youth Ministry and the lived experience of our community at worship, service and celebration.
